Life raising girls

People often ask me what it’s like raising all girls. I immediately answer that I love it … and that’s the truth. I grew up with a brother and lots of boy cousins. I always wished for a sister because I envied friends who had sisters and a built in best friend. For as long as I can remember, I prayed and wished for a daughter. I can hear God giggling now, as I have not one, but four! Of course, almost every time I’m out with them all, we hear the comments asking if I am going to try for a boy. Truth is, I never “tried” for a boy. I never felt like I was missing out on something, and I always felt complete with girls. I think God knows what our hearts need, and I needed daughters. 💞
