Summertime

I took a little time away from writing any new posts to spend time with my girls this summer. They start school back this week. Summer flew by! This year, I will have a kindergartener, 3rd grader and 5th grader. My littlest is still at home with me. As I’m sure every stay a home mom can relate at the end of summer … I’m looking forward to a little more calm at home during the day, a little break when itty bitty goes to moms’ morning out a couple days each week. However, I also am not sure I’m ready to send them back “into the world”. Time with them is precious, even though it’s not always rainbows and butterflies. We have loved have freedom of time that the summer offers, flexibility in what we want to do, and lots of time to play and be creative! Our favs this summer have been a tubing trip with all the cousins, Nana & Pop camp, church camp and lots and lots of playing at the pool with friends!
